Bhubaneswar, May 26 (Local Wire): The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has now shared new guidelines for travellers who will be travelling in the 200 new trains fro June 1 as announced by the Union government.
According to the new norms these trains will not have unreserved compartments and passengers with only confirmed tickets will be allowed to board the train.
The railway zone has shared a number of new norms which will be followed from June 1 for travelling in such trains.
Some of the important guidelines/information for travelling in these trains include-
–These trains will be in addition to the Shramik trains and AC only trains.
–The new 200 trains will be fully reserved trains with AC and non-AC compartments.
–Separate entry and exit points for passengers.
–Ticket can be booked online, at stations or through agents.
–Advance reservation period to be maximum of 30 days.
–Wait list passengers will not be allowed to travel.
–No tatkal or premium tatkal allowed.
–First reservation chart to be prepared at least 4 hours before scheduled departure.
–Screening mandatory for all, symptomatic persons not allowed to travel.
–Wearing masks, maintaining social distancing expected from passengers.
–Concessions confined to 4 categories of divgyans and 11 categories of patient concessions permitted.
-Provision for pre-paid meal booking, e-catering to be disabled.
-IRCTC to make provision for limited eatables and packaged drinking water on payment basis only in limited trains.
-No static and vending units allowed on station premises.
