Bhubaneswar, April 7 (Local Wire): The state government on Tuesday said that after the Odisha government appealed to those who returned from Nizamuddin to register with the government, 42 new citizens have come forward.
“Earlier we came in contact with 28 person who attended the jamaat at Nizamuddin. Those where traced and put under testing.
Now after the appeal from the CM, 42 more persons have come forward and contacted the government,” Subroto Bagchi, Chief Spokesperson of the government on COVID 19 said.
He also appealed more persons who attended the event to come forward and report to the government.
The government is now undertaking the required procedure to screen the suspected patients among the new registered citizens.
