Bhubaneswar, April 25: The state government Saturday said that disclosure of Aadhar numbers and mobile numbers have been made mandatory for registration of people who want to return to Odisha post lockdown exemption.
Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department Secretary DK Singh said, “Registration is mandatory for people returning either in rural areas or urban areas post lockdown.
Government has decided to make Aadhar numbers and phone numbers disclosures mandatory,”
Singh said that the registration process had already started and those planning to return can given their details through three different modes.
He said that the person coming back can fill the forms online through the government portal, or somebody on their behalf can do so.
The official also said that the printed registration forms have also been given at panchayat offices where the persons can fill it and submit it to complete their registration process.
Singh said that the format of the registration has been kept simple and basic questions like travel destination, name, age and local contacts are asked from the citizens.
The government recently had said that they are anticipating return of close to 5 lakh persons from outside the state.
