Bhubaneswar, June 6 (LocalWire): The online admissions into higher secondary schools for Plus Two courses across streams in Odisha is scheduled to start from 11 am today.
Students who have cleared the high school certificate (HSC) examination will need to register themselves on the e-Admission portal, Student Academic Management System (SAMS) to access the Common Application Form (CAF) online.
The online form will be available on www.samsodisha.gov.in till June 20.
The students can pay the application fee through online method only and take the print out of application form and payment receipt.
They can submit the printout along with the documents at the SAMS Resource Center by 5.00 pm on June 21.
The registration will be through an OTP (One Time Password) process and it is mandatory for students to register their mobile number and email.
Multiple registrations are restricted against single mobile and email.
According to a notification issued by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education of Odisha, beginning this year offline forms will not be accepted by the Directorate.
Overall, 1500 junior colleges including self-financing, upashastri and vocational higher secondary schools will begin their admission process from June 28.
The first phase merit list and the cut-off mark will be released on June 26 and selected applicants can enroll between June 28 and July 2.
While the second phase merit list and cut-off mark will be released on July 8, the admission will be held between July 9 and 11.
The final list of vacant seats will be released on July 16 for which the spot admission be held between July 20 and 22.
