Bhubaneswar, July 7 (LocalWire): The first phase of admission into MBBS and BDS course commenced on Saturday in various medical colleges across Odisha.
“On the first day, the admission sessions were held in a standardised manner,” said an Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) official adding that the counseling session was held between 10 am to 5 pm.
As per reports, out of about 1,219 quota seats, 1,164 provisional seats were allotted to students in the first phase.
Admissions for these courses were held today in Cuttack based SCB Medical College and Hospital and several other private hospitals including Hi-Tech hospital.
Similarly, the first phase admissions were done in MKGC Medical College and Hospital in Brahmapur, Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Burla, Baleswar Fakirmohan Senapati Medical College and Hospital and Sahid Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in Koraput, and Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Baripada.
