New Delhi, June 21 (LocalWire): The Supreme Court is now all set to hear an array of petitions filed in relation to the earlier order of the court which barred holding Puri Rath Yatra this year.
A single bench of the apex court headed by Justice S Ravindra Bhat will hear the pleas.
The petitions have been filed against the earlier order of the court passed on June 18 where the court passed an order to not hold Puri Rath Yatra this year due to Coronavirus fear.
The petitions have been filed against the Writ Petition (Civil) in the Odisha Vikas Parishad Versus Union of India and others case where the matter was discussed earlier in the apex court.
The court proceedings have been planned to be heard virtually at 11am on Monday.
The earlier order had not gone down well by many individuals and institutions.
While some want partial modification in the order, some had some other issues with the case.
