Bhubaneswar, April 8 (LocalWire): Humans of Bhubaneswar, a citizens’ forum, celebrated its second anniversary on Sunday at Biggies Burger in Patia.
The organisation provides a platform to individuals for sharing their life experiences and inspiring tales.
Sunday’s event saw a number of speakers from students to entrepreneurs.
Founder of Phoenix Film Labs Vijay Kishore spoke about the hardships he faced in life and how he turned them around for his benefit.
FoodFindo founder Rohit Srivastava spoke about his successful enterprise in Odisha.
Entrepreneurs A. Saumya Rao and Zahid Akhtar also spoke about their struggles in life.
Others who participated in the event included culture studies student, documentary filmmaker and Odissi dancer Yamini Makeshwar, NIFT student and LGBTQ activist Raunak, Comedy Highway co-founder Alokesh Sinha and biotechnologist/micro-artist Susrita Samantaray.
Susrita showcases the temple architecture of Odisha in her intricate illustration work. Other speakers included journalist and author Prachitara and English professor Debashis Panda.
Concluding the programme, the Humans of Bhubaneswar expressed hope that there would be “more inspiring stories from people in future” and extended its gratitude to the audience for love and support.
