Bhubaneswar, Oct 16 (LocalWire): A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Natural Language Processing’ organized virtually by The School of Computer Applications, KIIT Deemed to be University was inaugurated on 15th October.
The Programme is sponsored by AICTE under the ATAL scheme.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Esaú Villatoro Tello, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico, who is currently working at Idiap Research Institute, Martigny, Switzerland, spoke at length on the theme.
In his talk, he made a thorough analysis on how Artificial Intelligence can be utilised in Natural Language Processing.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, VC, KIIT-DU said that researchers should solve the real-world problem through their research works.
During the five-day FDP, 14 sessions will be taken by eminent resource persons from premier institutes like IIT Patna, Jadavpur University and industries like Microsoft, and IQVIA RDS from India.
As many as 200 participants joined from over 24 states, which include PG Scholars, Research Scholars and Faculties from NIT, IIT, IIIT and other premier institutes.
