Rourkela, December 19 (LocalWire): Beginning 22 December, Western Odisha will get its most ultra-modern health-care facility with the opening of the private-sector Jaiprakash Hospital that will start its operation for indoor patient.
The hospital is located at Dayanand Nagar, Dandiapalli in Rourkela on the bank of river Brahmani comprises a five-acre campus with sufficient parking space.
“Among other things parking is a big problem and we thought of taking care of that,” the hospital chairman Sanjay Bansal said, adding that the whole hospital is centrally air-conditioned.
“We have sourced experienced medical practitioners, both locally and nationally, in the fields of Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Diabetology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Dentistry, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, and Urology,” he stated.
He further informed that Jaiprakash Hospital will be the first hospital in the state to have a Labour OT with back-lit glass walls.
“The hospital has a modular OT complex with 10 suites for neuro, cardiac, orthopedics, urology, and laparoscopy. The hospital is the first healthcare organisation in western Odisha that is going to get the NABH certification, to meet and maintain a very high level of quality care for its patients by way of high tech medical equipment’s and patient care,” the chairman said.
Bansal also informed that the hospital will have 60 ICU beds for adults and 17 for children.
While it will have its own central oxygen system, provisions have been made for a 24 X 7 blood bank and world-class Cath Lab and Cardiac ICU with 128 Slice CT Cardiac Scan.
It will be one of the few hospitals that will provide high-quality lab services with same-day report facility, as well as physiotherapy with rehabilitation processes, he stated.
