Cuttack, May 11 (LocalWire): The Jagatsinghpur district administration on Monday said it has sent a vehicle to bring some migrants allegedly dropped at Cuttack by the bus that brought them from Tamil Nadu.
The bus carrying around 30 migrants dropped nearly half of them at OMP square at Cuttack.
The migrants were on their way to Jagatsinghpur on foot.
The administration in a tweet said out of 14 migrants, 8 had left in three autos while the rest 6 have reached the quarantine center at JKBK College.
“Our Nodal Officer already talked with them. Our vehicle will bring them after a while,” the tweet added.
It is to be noted that as of 11th May, there are 391 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 as per the tweet of the I & PR Dept.
Ganjam is the worst hit with 137 cases, with Jajpur at 60 and Khordha at 50 positive cases respectively.
