Bhubaneswar, February 22 (LocalWire): If you think education and employment are the only parameters of success, you may be wrong.
Meet 43-year-old Babu Bhai, who has made a modest fortune selling fish in the city’s Patia area for past 20 years.
“I have a family, which includes my wife, two sons and my parents. Fortunately, every year my business grew. All because of Lord Jagannath’s blessing and my hard work,” said Babu Bhai from Bhubaneswar.
“My father was a government servant and my mother a housewife. When I was in class VIII, I had to put an end to my education, as I couldn’t afford my school fees.”
“I do not regret. Some aspire to become officers, doctors or engineers, and I chose to do business. I am contented with where I am now,” he said.
“I am punctual in my work. Every morning, I start my work early, even before the roosters’ call. And I make sure I find time to spend with my family every day.”
“Most people forget the importance of spending time with their family. They chase after money and luxuries of life, but I keep myself away from that. When there is a loss in my business, my family supports me and that keeps me going,” said Babu Bhai.
