Berhampur, August 29 (LocalWire): Berhampur University on Saturday declared the results of the sixth semester examination (final examination) of all streams of the under-graduate Bachelor’s degree course.
Around 91.73 percent students have passed in all the streams.
While as many as 20,704 students had appeared in the final semester examination in Arts, Science and Commerce streams, 18,991 of them have successfully passed it, sources said.
While 93.84 percent students passed in Arts stream, 86.66 percent students passed in Science stream. Similarly, 90.17 percent students have passed in Commerce, sources added.
Vice Chancellor of the university Govid J.Chakrapani declared the result of the examination in presence of registrar Ranjan Kumar Biswal, controller of examinations Surendra Sethy.
He expressed happiness over the timely publication of the result despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Final semester examination was held in the month of February and March, while almost all examinations had been completed before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“With the declaration of the final semester examination, we have cleared all the semester examinations of the Plus III students,” said controller of the examinations.
Berhampur University would not be affected by the Supreme Court’s order for conducting the final year examination of the undergraduate courses before promoting the students, as the varsity has already conducted the examinations and declared the results.
The university however, is waiting for the government’s decision to conduct the final semester examinations of the post-graduate courses, said the controller of examinations of the university.
