Berhampur, April 28 (LocalWire): Berhampur University has rescheduled the second and fourth semester examinations of Post-graduate courses following the demands of the students.
The examinations for the second and fourth semester have been deferred to 11 May and will be over by 22 May.
Summer vacation, which was scheduled to start from 11 May will also be delayed and begin from 23 May, University sources said.
‘We have changed the dates following the request of the students and was rescheduled after
consulting the post-graduate council, controller of examinations for the betterment of the
students,’ said Vice chancellor, Berhampur University Rajendra Prasad Dash.
PG Council chairman had submitted a report to the VC after discussing with the faculty members of different departments on the demands of the students, sources said.
Several PG students had submitted a memorandum to the chairman, post-graduate council, urging to defer the examination date by at least a week.
Students said their course for these semesters could not completed as the teaching faculties of different departments were engaged in the election in the month of March and April.
