Bhubaneswar, July 18 (LocalWire): Bhubaneswar became Odisha’s sole exam centre for the SBI probationary officer mains examination that will be conducted country-wide on 20 July.
While some states have more than one exam centre, Odisha has been allotted only one.
SBI PO Mains is the second phase of the national-level exam that has 2000 seats. Candidates who qualified the prelims will appear for the Mains exam.
The Mains paper will comprise two parts – a three hour objective type question paper carrying 155 questions and 30 minutes subjective type question which would carry letter writing or essay writing question carrying 50 marks.
Syllabus prepared for this year consists of reasoning and computer aptitude, Data analysis and interpretation, English and general awareness.
The results will be declared by the third week of August and call letters will be sent to the selected candidates within the corresponding week for the third phase – group exercise and personal interview.
Candidates qualifying the Mains exam will be further evaluated in the GE round out of 20 marks and in the PI out of 30 marks. The final results of the PO exams will be declared within the second week of October.
Examiners have advised the aspiring candidates to be thorough with the syllabus and exam patterns before appearing for the exams.
