Bhubaneswar, Aug 20 (LocalWire): The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today got 45 secretaries and 41 joint secretaries as the party president Naveen Patnaik approved their names for the posts.
The party issued the notification into this regard with the approval of the BJD patriarch.
Several of the new secretaries have now been entrusted with different tasks for the party in different disciplines.
The newly elected secretaries like Anubhav Patnaik and K Shanti besides Bishnu Priya Das have been given the charge of women empowerment.
Rabi Narayan Nanda, Puspendra Singh Deo , Sangram Keshari Paikaray, Amaresh Jena and other prominent leaders have also been appointed as secretaries of the party.
Party leader Susanta Rout has also been appointed as the President of Bhubaneswar organizational district while Biranchi N Supakar has been appointed as the working president for the district.
The party in their latest rejig had appointed its senior vice presidents, senior general secretaries and general secretaries. Now more people have been included in other party posts.
