Bhubaneswar, March 21 (LocalWire): After an apparent delay, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday finally released a list of 10 Lok Sabha candidates for first phase on April 11.
The announcement comes hours after the ruling-BJD took a jibe at the saffron party over the delay, saying it has no candidates in over a dozen constituencies, hence there’s no list.
BJP, on the other hand, ridiculed BJD over the “mass exodus” from the party and said it should first put its house in order, before poking into other people’s affairs.
The last date for filing of nominations for first and second phase is March 25 and 26.
BJP’s first-list candidates are:
Rudra Narayan Pani (Dhenkanal)
Jual Oram (Sundargarh)
Ananta Nayak (Keonjhar)
Pratap Sarangi (Balasore)
Balabhadra Majhi (Nabarangpur)
Baijayant Panda (Kendrapara)
Aparajita Sarangi (Bhubaneswar)
Anita Priyadarsini (Aska)
Bhrugu Baxipatra (Berhampur)
Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo (Balangir).
