Sambalpur, Jan 2 (LocalWire) With the bells ringing for assembly and general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday launched a campaign chariot in Sambalpur.
After worshipping Maa Samleswari deity, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) launched their campaign chariot reflecting the agenda “Jabab Manguchi Odisha” from Samleswari temple.
The event was organised by BJP youth wing leader Rikon Patnaik.
“Since last 19 years, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is depriving our people of basic facilities. Developmental works are only on pen and paper,” alleged Patnaik.
“Our chariot will be travelling through villages and towns of the district to make people aware of the true face of the state government,” he added.
BJP National Secretary Suresh Pujari and Kuchinda MLA Rabinarayan Naik were present at the launch.
