Bhubaneswar, May 19 (LocalWire): The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on Tuesday issued new guidelines along with relaxations for the period of lockdown 4, lasting till May 31st.
Domestic and international air travel continue to be prohibited, along with the opening of schools, colleges and educational institutions, any kind of large congregation including sports, political, social, academic, cultural, or religious and public gatherings at all places of worship.
Sports stadiums have been allowed to open with sports persons allowed to practice, however, spectators are not allowed.
Hotels, lodges, hospitality services, cinema halls, gymnasiums, theatres, bars, swimming pools, etc.
shall remain closed; restaurant kitchens have been allowed to operate, however, only home delivery and takeout options are available to them.
Multi-storeyed shopping malls having an area of more than 40,000 sq. feet are prohibited from opening, while grocery, medicine, vegetable stores in the malls along with government or private offices have been allowed to open.
Guidelines relating to social distancing such as the use of facial masks, provision of hand sanitizers, and use of PPE by beauty parlor/salon personnel are to be mandatorily followed and it is the responsibility of the shop owner to ensure this.
Eatery/tiffin shops have been allowed to function for the purpose of takeaway only, and are to ensure that people don’t use their vicinity for eating in.
All retail shops other than medicine shops are allowed to function from 7 am-6.30 pm only; the movement of individuals for non-essential purposes between 7 pm-7 am is strictly prohibited.
There is no bar on the movement of essential service providers like medical professionals, drinking water, sanitation, and electricity supply officials and officials on emergency/COVID-19 duty.
