Paradip (Jagatsinghpur), Sept 9 (LocalWire) The iron ore exports from Paradip Port has increased by 22 per cent to 70.24 lakh tonnes till the end of August this fiscal year against the corresponding period of the previous year, an official said on Wednesday.
During 2019-2020 fiscal year the total quantity of iron ore exported via this port was 47.85 lakh tonnes, mostly to China, port traffic manager Sushant Kumar Mishra told LocalWire.
Odisha is India’s biggest iron ore producing state.
