Bhubaneswar, Sept 18 (LocalWire): A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today raided the residence of senior BJD leader Debi Prasad Mishra.
In their 2-hour raid, the CBI examined some documents at the residence of the former minister. This was done when the minister was under home isolation due to Coronavirus infection.
This search was said to be related to a seven-year-old case of Seashore company project on Mahanadi river.
The minister later interacted to reporters and said he cooperated with the agency sleuths.
He said, “The CBI team came in relation to the 2013 Mahanadi river project. They have earlier also examined me and served me notices and others. I have cooperated with them,”
The party leader, however, refrained from making any political remark during his interaction with the media nor he attacked anybody for the raids.
Earlier in the morning, the sleuths of the CBI reached the residence of the former tourism minister at Unit I area in the state capital to conduct searches.
