Bhubaneswar, Nov 28 (LocalWire): The implementation of rural housing, sanitation, health, education, road connectivity, power supply and urban civic services in Kalahandi district was reviewed by Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy today.
Emphasizing the need for full utilisation of the allotted fund against the projects, Tripathy asked officials to ensure timely delivery of public services and maintenance of high-level transparency.
He also visited the district hospital and interacted with in-patients and their relatives regarding availability of services under Nidan, Niramaya and Sunetra yojana.
Tripathy also visited the under-construction medical college building at Bhangabadi.
During the course of his day-long visit, the Chief Secretary looked into the functioning of Ahara Kendra at Bhawanipata.
He also visited Pastigudi High School and interacted with the teachers and students for qualitative improvement in classroom teaching.
