Berhampur, February 26 (Localwire): Several organisations here on Tuesday took out a joint rally in support of the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) pre-dawn attack on JeM terror camps across the border.
Tuesday’s bombing of JeM camps near Pakistan’s Balakot was in response to the Pulwama attack about two weeks ago in which 40 CRPF men were killed, one of the worst attacks in decades in the Valley.
The activists marched forward with the national flag in their hands and raising slogans to praise the security forces. They have also burst crackers and distributed sweets to people.
“Its India’s fitting reply to Pakistan after the Pulwama attack,” said activist Ram Kumar Patra.
Some 200 to 300 terrorists were reportedly killed in the pre-dawn airstrikes.
