Bhubaneswar, March 24 (LocalWire): The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Monday began the evaluation of answer sheets of this year’s matriculation exam amid tight security across the state.
Over 16,000 teachers are tasked with examining the answer sheets of matric, madhyama and open school students at 60 centers set up in the state, OTV reported, citing sources.
The evaluation process is expected to be completed by April 5.
Some 5.80 lakh students had appeared in the HSC exam at 2,953 centers across the state from February 22 to March 25.
Despite strict measures, question papers of Odia, English and Mathematic were leaked on social media soon after the respective exams commenced.
Around 19 teachers and staff members were suspended for various lapses during the exam.
