Bhubaneswar, March 20 (LocalWire): The Common Law Admission Test, or CLAT 2019, has been rescheduled to May 26 due to the forthcoming assembly and parliamentary elections.
CLAT 2019 will be conducted by the National Law University (NLU) Odisha.
NLU vice-chancellor Prof. Shrikrishna Deva Rao said, the exam date has been rescheduled, and instead of May 12, it will now be held on May 26 due to elections.
Rao said that last date for submission of applications has also been changed accordingly from March 31 to April 15.
Online applications for the exam were opened on January 13.
CLAT 2019 will be held to get admissions into 21 national law colleges under its belt.
The news may have come as a relief to many CLAT aspirants who are currently appearing their Class 12 board exams.
