Bhubaneswar, Oct 20 (LocalWire): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed to the people of Odisha to refrain from grand celebrations during the upcoming festive season.
In a video message to the people, the CM cited the threat from the Coronavirus.
He told the people of the state that the state has seen a dip in the number of cases of the pandemic but batted for practicing restrain.
He also cited the examples of western countries like the UK, Spain and France about the rise and down of the disease and the subsequent second wave.
He said that the people of the state need to be cautious while celebrating and must adhere to social distancing and other norms to ward off the disease.
