Bhubaneswar, Mar 7 (Local Wire): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has now asked the General Administration Department to consider barring the foreign trips of ministers and government officials in the wake of rise in cases of Coronavirus which has created worldwide concern.
The direction from the CM came to the fore when he was conducting a review meeting on Cornonavirus with several high ranking officials of several departments in Bhubaneswar.
The CM has now asked all Collectors and other officials to prepare daily review reports on the disease.
He also asked the health department to ensure ample masks, drugs and other materials at government hospitals.
He also asked private hospitals to create isolation wards and work as per the disease management protocols.
The CM on the other hand also asked the School and Mass Education Department to ensure cleanliness in schools premises and also making available soaps, disinfectants for cleaning the furniture to prevent the spread of the disease.
