Berhampur, March 20 (Localwire): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who has filed his nomination from Hinjili for the fifth time on Wednesday, declared to have both movable and immovable assets worth over Rs.63 crore in his affidavit.
As per 2017-18 IT return, his total annual income was around Rs.21.17 lakh.
Patnaik holds two bank accounts in Bank of India and State Bank of India, each having deposits of Rs.6,50,648 and Rs.1,730 respectively. His source of income is bank interest and salary.
He also owns jewellery worth over Rs.2 lakh, about 23 acres of farmland and a building at Tikri Khera in Faridabad district. The value of the land is worth around Rs.10.75 crore.
He also holds a two-third share of the property in Naveen Niwas, Bhubaneswar, and 50 percent share in a property at 3 Aurangzeb Road in New Delhi.
While the market value of around 2 acres in Naveen Niwas was around Rs.9.52 crore, the 1,111 sq. meter plot at APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi was Rs.43,36 crore, he said in the affidavit.
He also said that he has no criminal case pending against him in any court.
