Bhubaneswar, Oct 28 (LocalWire) Based on ground-level reports of “Mo Sarkar’ teams in five districts, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced infrastructure development initiatives for three district headquarters hospitals at Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj and Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH).
The chief minister said that Doctors and paramedical staff will get rewards for their exemplary services under Mo Sarkar programme.
While 10 doctors will get a cash reward of Rs.10 lakhs annually, Rs. five lakh will be given to paramedic staff for their good works, a statement said here.
For Sundargarh district, as per grants approved by the chief minister, Infrastructure Gas will be met from District Mineral fund including attendants Rest Shed and Staff Quarters, Rs.10 lakh will be given to SP, Sundargarh, for promotion of Blood Donation Camps, two numbers of Ambulances and two numbers of Maha-Prayan vehicles will be provided.
Bed strength in Rourkela Government Hospital will be increased to 400, Rs.15 lakh to be given from CMRF to Rogi Kalyan Samiti for Patient Welfare and Innovation and Rs.10 lakhs to be given SP, Rourkela for promotion of Blood Donation Camps.
In Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital Infrastructure Gaps will be met out of District Mineral Fund while in Mayurbhanj District Headquarters Hospital besides meting Infrastructure Gaps from District Mineral Funds, Rs.15 lakh from CMRF will be given for Patient Welfare and Innovation, Rs.10 lakh will be given to S.P. Mayurbhanj for promotion of Blood Donation Camps, the statement said.
