Bhubaneswar, July 12 (LocalWire): The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) today announced lifting of shutdown announced by the civic body earlier with effect from tomorrow.
CMC Commissioner Ananya Das conducted a press conference and informed the media about the decision.
A notification from the institution was also issued on the new rules.
“We have decided to lift the imposed shutdown from Cuttack city after local assessment. However we have extended the night curfew hours,” she said.
According to the new rules, while there would be no shutdowns under CMC limits, the night curfew will be imposed from 7pm to 5am instead of the earlier timings of 9pm to 5am.
The CMC notification meanwhile has asked the shops to open their outlets from 5am to 6pm.
It also gave approval for shopping malls to open with an undertaking that they would ensure social distancing on their campus.
