Bhubaneswar, December 27 (LocalWire): With an upper air layer running through Tripura to north coastal Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday made forecast of continuing cold wave in the State for the next 72 hours.
Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha & districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Sonepur, Kalahandi and Kandhamal till early morning tomorrow, the latest IMD bulletin stated.
Dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha, it said.
Cold Day condition is very likely to occur over districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh Angul and Mayurbhanj.
Besides dense fog is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of North Odisha and Kandhamal, Puri, Khurda, Sonepur and Kalahandi, it added.
