Bhubaneswar, June 30 (LocalWire): The State government today said that the total reported cases of Coronavirus in the state crossed 7000 with the detection of more new cases in the latest round of sample testing.
According to the State Information and Public Relations Department, the State saw 206 new cases of the viral disease in its latest round of sample testing.
The government claims that out of the total 206 new cases, 192 were detected from quarantine centres while 14 are from the local population.
With the detection of 206 new cases the total cases in the state touched 7,065.
The highest cases were reported from Malkangiri which saw 36 new cases. This was followed by Jajpur which saw 28 new cases.
A total of 22 districts reported new cases of the viral disease.
The government claims that they have done a total of 2,65,431 samples till now.
Latest data claim that the state has a total of 2,087 active cases of the disease while it has a total of 4,946 recovered cases.
