Bhubaneswar, July 27 (LocalWire): The State government today said that it has seen a total of seven new Coronavirus deaths from across the state on Sunday.
The State Health and Family Welfare Department said that out of the seven patients who succumbed to the viral infection, three are from Ganjam district alone.
Most of the deceased were above the age of 50 years except one 45-year-patient from Bhubaneswar who was diabetic.
A total of five districts reported the latest Coronavirus deaths.
These included-Ganjam (3 deaths), Malkangiri (1), Khurda (1), Sundergarh (1) and Cuttack (1).
With the addition of the new Coronavirus deaths, the total fatalities caused by the disease in the state touched 147.
