Bhubaneswar, Dec 20 (LocalWire) Cricket fans visiting Barabati Stadium at Cuttack have ‘Mo Bus’ service to ferry them to enjoy the high-voltage day-night one-day international match between India and the West Indies on December 22.
The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will run extra buses from and to the Stadium as part of its Cricket ODI Special in four categories- Special ODI Route 1 UP, Special ODI Route 1 Down, Special ODI Route 2 UP and Special ODI Route 2 Down.
Mo Bus will operate from Master Canteen via National Highway and from Baramunda bus stand via Nandankanan between 8.30-11AM and drop the commuters at the nearest designated parking place for Barabati Stadium.
In order to facilitate people to reach their destination after the match, CRUT will run ‘Mo Bus’ 10 PM onwards from the designated parking place and the bus fare for this ODI Cricket special service will be Rs. 30 from point to point.
“This special service will enable commuters to reach Barabati Stadium safe and hassle free at an affordable price. We want the cricket enthusiasts to enjoy their onward journey and avoid self-driving to the venue,” said Dipti Mahapatro, General Manager, CRUT and hoped that that more and more people will avail this service.
While Special ODI Route 1 UP will be Baramunda Bus Stand, Jaydev Vihar, Nandankanan, Judicial Academy and Barabati Stadium and 1 Down will start go through Barabati Stadium, Judicial Academy, Nandankanan, Jaydev Vihar and back to to Baramunda Bus stand.
Similarly Special ODI Route 2 UP will go through Master Canteen, Vani Vihar Square, Nakhara Square, Link Road and Barabati Stadium and the 2 Down will cover Barabati Stadium, Link Road, Nakhara Square, Vani Vihar Square to reach Master Canteen.
Currently CRUT has a fleet of 200 buses equipped with free Wi-Fi, clean and technologically advanced equipment and cater to around 90000 passengers daily spread across 250 km network in 21 routes in the twin city.
