Bhubaneswar, July 29 (LocalWire) : The Meteorological Department has issued red warning to three districts of Odisha after the cyclonic circulation that preceded over the Bay of Bengal, has moved towards north Odisha and its adjoining places on Monday.
Districts of southern Odisha such as Koraput, Malkangiri, and Nawarangpur have been issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.
An orange warning has been issued to Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bargarh, Sonepur, Bolangir and Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri and Nawarangpur.
Similarly Rayagada, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Puri, Khurda, Angul, Cuttack, Boudh, Deogarh,Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Balasore, Kendrapada have received yellow warning.
The weather department has warned fishermen to not venture into the sea following the rough sea condition due to the strong southwest monsoon current.
