Bhubaneswar, Mar 22 (Local Wire): Cities and villages including state capital Bhubaneswar on Sunday witnessed deserted look as most of the vehicles remained off road after the call of Prime Minister’s Janta Curfew and state lockdown order.
Most of the roads in the Bhubaneswar saw very lesser traffic as buses, autos and even private cars tried to comply with the government orders.
The orders have been issued to avert the chances of spread of the disease in the state.
Most of the tea stalls, shops, eateries remained closed as per government orders while essentials services like hospitals, ambulance, medicine shops and others were seen active.
In the light of cancellation of trains by the railway department, there was very few crowding at railway station and master canteen area in the state capital.
The Cuttack-Bhubaneswar National Highway and Bhubaneswar Puri Highway also witnessed very few vehicular movements.
