Jagatsinghpur, Nov 28 (LocalWire) A local court has sentenced a woman and her daughter to life imprisonment for allegedly killing her daughter-in-law for dowry.
According to police, during Laxmi Parida’s marriage to Susant Kumar Parida of Goda village in Jagatsinghpur in 2006, her in-laws had demanded a television set, gold ornaments and Rs. 50,000 in cash as dowry, which her parents were unable to pay.
