Bhubaneswar, May 22 (LocalWire): The Election Commission is all set to start the counting of votes on Thursday following a grueling seven-phase Lok Sabha election from April 11 to May 19.
Counting of postal ballots will start first at 8 am, followed by EVM-VVPATs half-an-hour later, the chief election officer said.
A total of 6,700 officials at 63 centers across the state will carry out the counting process.
Each counting center will have three halls, 14 tables and a three-tiered police security, the official added.
Both Lok Sabha and assembly elections were held in four phases in Odisha.
