Balasore, Oct 1 (LocalWire): The farmers’ bill passed recently in the parliament will bring several developmental steps for farmers, MP from Balasore district and Minister of State in the Union Government for Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, today said in a press meeting held at Balasore town.
Minister Sarangi said that the farmers as producers had been neglected for long and their problems remained unsolved during the UPA Government.
To secure their lives and self-respect as well as bring back the life stream of farmers, the Modi Government has taken several steps like providing electricity, pucca house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Gas facility to both farmers and daily wagers.
Soil Health Card and farmer’s pension facilities, the initiatives are taken by the Modi Government.
The farmers’ producers’ bill for the promotion of farmers is a bill that will give liberty to farmers after 73 years of Independence so that they can sell their products in and outside the states, even outside the country.
This bill will help them to compete with other farmers in the country, said the Minister.
The Prime Minister and Agriculture Minister had thought and found the way for the development of farmers.
The farmers’ produce bill will surely bring good results for the farmers across the country, said the Minister.
In the meeting, the Minister said that the people who want to oppose will always oppose any development bills came in the house.
If there are some lacunas in the farmers’ produce bill, it has a provision to be rectified through the amendment system, the Minister said.
