Bhubaneswar, Feb 7 (LocalWire) The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) will be holding first ever School Safety Advisory Committee (SSAC) meeting here on Thursday.
In a letter to all stakeholders, OSEPA announced the SSAC meeting constituted as per National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) guidelines, will be held at 4 pm on Thursday at the P & C Conference Hall, Secretariat Building, Bhubaneswar.
The committee meeting, presided by the Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, will elaborately discuss measures for strengthening of institutional commitment to safe learning environment for children.
OSEPA State Project Director will give welcome address in the meeting.
Preparation of school safety plan, progress under Disaster Management and School Safety Policy and community mobilization and creation of awareness among stakeholders will be the highlights of the meeting.
In addition to that, the first meeting of SSAC will focus on convergence of all departments, capacity building of stakeholders on DMP and any other matter as per the approval of the chair.
