Bhubaneswar, May 7 (Local Wire): The state government on Thursday said that it has detected three new cases of Coronavirus from Bhubaneswar after a gap of several days.
With the detection of three fresh cases, the total cases in Bhubaneswar rose to 50.
Accordingly, the Khurda district has now a total of 16 active cases and 32 cases of patients who recovered from the global pandemic.
A statement from the Information and Public Relations Department said, “Three positive cases detected in Bhubaneswar.
The patients include a 36-year-old male from Mancheswar and a 34-year-old male from VSS Nagar. Another 67-year-male has also been tested positive from Suryanagar,”
The department said that contact tracing and follow up actions are now being taken up.
The government however has till now not disclosed the travel histories and other details about the patients from Bhubaneswar.
