Bhubaneswar, July 8 (LocalWire): The Ganjam district administration has now sealed its borders with Khurda district to restrict the movement of people in the light of Coronavirus threat.
The District Administration meanwhile also closed the Outdoor Patient Department (OPD) of the MKCG Medical College in the district in the light of spiked cases of the disease.
“Ganjam Khurda border is sealed. No person will be allowed to go to Bhubaneswar. Kindly cooperate,” Ganjam Collector Vijay Amrut Kulange said.
The administration has now barred persons from Bhubaneswar and Khurda to come to the district and also asked Ganjam citizens not to go to the neighbouring district without special emergency needs.
It has meanwhile also sealed Odagaon, Rohibanka and Bhanjanagar Crossing Square roads to contain the disease.
According to government figures, the district hosts the maximum Coronavirus cases which is close to 3,000 while it also reported the highest of 30 deaths of the 48 deaths reported in the state.
