Bhubaneswar, July 2 (LocalWire): The State Home Department has now issued a circular to all the department secretaries to ban the entry of outsiders and withhold all the existing passes issued to them till July 31.
“I am directed to say that in view of steep rise in Coronavirus cases in Bhubaneswar and in order to minimise the number of visitors coming to Lok Seva Bhawan, Kharavel Bhawan and Krushi Bhavan it has been decided to keep in abeyance all passes issued to visitors for these offices till July 31,” the circular of Home Department said.
It also added, “Any request for entry of outsiders and for such pass holders will only be entertained on the request received from the office of the secretaries of the concerned department to the special secretary, home department,”
This comes as a part of the government circulars to restrain the flow of the public towards government offices.
The government has meanwhile also asked all departments to follow the Standard Operating Protocol for Coronavirus management on their campuses.
