Bhubaneswar, Nov 4 (LocalWire): The state government today inked MoUs with industrial majors for skill development and enhancing employment of skilled manpower.
The Director Technical Education and Training (DTET) signed an agreement with Tata to hone the skill of students of government-run Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
The ITI students will now be covered under special training programmes, said senior government officials.
Besides Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), College of Engineering and Technology (CET) signed an MoU with Tech Mahindra for establishment of a centre of excellence on artificial intelligence in Bhubaneswar.
The state-run Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) also signed an agreement with Tech Mahindra for establishment of an international BPO business centre at fortune towers in Bhubaneswar, added the officials.
