Bhubaneswar, April 10 (LocalWire): The state government has set down guidelines for the issuance of caste, income and residence certificates for the students of Class 10, in a bid to streamline the process and make it hassle-free.
The Revenue Inspector of the locality would visit each school before the summer vacation and hand out application forms to the students in presence of the Headmaster and class teacher.
The students will bring the form along with the requisite documents after the summer vacation to the school and it will be signed by the headmaster after due diligence.
The Revenue Inspector will then collect all the forms and ensure their online filing through the e-District portal. The certificates would then be issued by the Tahsildar/Additional Tahsildar.
The certificates will be distributed to the children by the RI in presence of the headmaster and class teacher, not later than August 31.
The RI shall submit the enquiry/verification report to the Tahsildar wherever required.
Sub Collectors would monitor the programme on a weekly basis.
