Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 (LocalWire): In order to produce more and more ITI-qualified students for skill initiatives across the nation, the government ITI Bhubaneswar organized an apprenticeship pakhwada (fortnight) inside its campus today as advised by the directorate general of training.
The trainees were given an idea about post-ITI training where apart from DGT syllabi training, practical training would also be available in workshops for further exposure.
Fifty ITI trained trainees attended the pakhwada and trainees were motivated and the experience shared by each towards apprenticeship training and excellence.
At the Apprenticeship Pakhwada (fortnight) authorities and senior officials from central tool room training centre, Bhubaneswar, CESU, TATA Motors, United Beverages, Mayfair Resorts, OPTCL, New Marion, SMS Pvt. Ltd., Britannia, OMFED, CocaCola, IMMT and Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar joined the event.
Through this event trainees were inclined to get post-ITI apprenticeship training, after their completion of the two-year course at ITIs.
The industries’ partners were felicitated for implementation of Apprenticeship Training at their organizations and providing training to the students and ensuring their employment prospects.
