Bhubaneswar, March 7 (LocalWire): The Odisha government on Thursday announced a free civil services coaching for students belonging to poor sections of the society, a media report said.
The state higher education department secretary Bishnupada Sethi has signed a MoU with Dhyeya Educational Services Pvt. Ltd., which will provide a comprehensive coaching for civil services aspirants.
The government will waive up to 75% of the fee to selected students under the scheme, and 100% waiver for students whose family income is Rs.2 lakh per annum, the department said a press release.
The department also signed a MoU with TCIL under the Ministry of Communication to set up “Smart Classrooms” in 101 degree colleges (51 Govt. and 50 aided colleges).
Each classroom will have a desktop, interactive white board, short throw-projector, portable visualizer, white and green boards, wireless microphone and camera, the Odishasuntimes.com reported.
It will enable teachers and students to interact live in their classrooms with other degree colleges.
In this regard, the department has signed a MoU with TCIL and Dhyeya Educational Services.
