Bhubaneswar, Aug 29 (LocalWire): The state government today relaxed shutdown and lockdown curbs for the students appearing for JEE (Mains) and NEET in the state.
Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Jena today issued an order claiming that there would be no lockdown and shutdown curbs for the students who want to appear for the examinations between August 30 to September 7 for JEE (Mains) students.
The examinations are scheduled to be done between September 1-September 6 in 26 centres across the state.
Similarly the government has also relaxed norms for the NEET exams scheduled on September 13. Accordingly, the curbs of lockdown and shutdown have been relaxed between September 12 to September 14.
This has come to ensure hassle free movement of the students in the state for the examinations.
The SRC has also asked the examination centres to ensure compliance of COVID rules.
