Bhubaneswar, April 2 (Local Wire): In a rare event, the state government revealed the identity of the fifth COVID patient from the state. It also said that the person had no travel history to other countries or states.
“The person does not have any travel history. In the public interest we are revealing his identity,” BMC Commissioner Prem Choudhury said.
The BMC has also issued a notification disclosing the identity of the patient.
He also said that any person who came in contact with the person should go for 14 days of home isolation and register themselves with the 104 helpline.
The official also announced blocking the entry and exit points in Surya Nagar in Bhubaneswar as a preventive measure.
