Bhubaneswar, July 15 (LocalWire): The state government today issued notification seeking temporary engagement of Anganwadi workers and other staff for COVID Care Homes in the state.
In the notification, the government has sought help from the unemployed trained and unregistered anganwadi workers for the services.
It has planned to recruit 7000 such workers in the state in 6798 Gram Panchayats temporarily at a remuneration of Rs 850 per day.
The government also planned to rope in staff nurses and pharmacists for such centres if they fail to get adequate anganwadi workers for the mission.
The staff nurses and pharmacists would get Rs 1000 per day as remuneration from the government if they are recruited by the government for such centres.
The government has planned to establish COVID Care Homes to give shelter and care to symptomatic patients from across the state before being tested for Coronavirus.
The objective behind such centres is to segregate the symptomatic patients from the population.
