Angul, Oct 25 (LocalWire): The state government has set a deadline of March 2021 for the completion of the Aluminium Park in Angul which is a joint venture between NALCO and Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.
IDCO chairman cum managing director Sanjay Singh recently visited the site and directed the officials concerned to expedite and complete the work before the deadline.
Sprawled over 223 acres, the proposed Aluminium Park will be a major infrastructure boost for the aluminium downstream industries.
Investors will obtain molten aluminium from NALCO’s smelter, for which a number of investors have already shown interest to set up their facilities in the park.
The project is being developed at a cost of Rs. 99.60 crore, including a central grant of Rs. 33.44 crores.
